A teenager has launched an egg against Conservative leader David Cameron during a campaign rally in the city of Cornwall, England. The projectile impacted on the shoulder of the Tory candidate, who joked with what had happened.
According to Sky News reported, quoting a spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police, the offender is a 16 year old student, which can be seen in the images of the event wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. "He was arrested but we released him before coming to the station," explained the spokesman.
An adviser to the Conservative Party has explained that he decided to release the boy after the agents had found that he had no more missiles to launch.
According to reporters who accompanied Cameron on the spot, the Tory leader has been very quiet after the incident and even joked, because yesterday he had met a man dressed as a chicken for another act. "Now I know what came first, the chicken, no egg," he said.
