MALAGA - To improve safety on the province roads one of the objectives that the council seeks to achieve, through the areas of infrastructure, Works and Services. With 850 kilometers in provincial road network, the council, will start to draw up a plan of Provincial Road Safety. A project that will emerge from the collaboration with different groups of deputies.
The purpose of this project is to reduce accident rates on the roads of the province. To that end,the council wants to involve entities representing users of such roads.Based on the agreements that can be established, council is committed to keep the parties informed of the work being undertaken and meet the corrective measures that are proposed within the framework of collaboration. On the other hand, the entities will provide information on black spots and accident statistics, corrective measures and proposals for prioritizing itineraries. Lastly, in order to materialize the agreement, a work table will be constituted with the participation of the infrastructure areas, Construction and Urban deputy, Maria Teresa Perez Leal, the chief of Roads and Works and a representative from each one of the signatories entities. |
