Users of Marbella Solidarity and Senior Citizens of the town share a day together in an outing in catamaran

MALAGA(Marbella) - The municipality of Marbella reported that the delegations of municipal Social Welfare and Health, through the Municipal Addictions Program, have organized a Intergenerational Solidarity day which has been an initiative of leisure and coexistence in which the local elderly and OAL Marbella Solidarity users have participated. The initiative, a catamaran departure from Puerto Banus which will take place this afternoon, aims to bring generations from two groups, moreover, with very special needs to involve people who are going through a difficult life situation Marbella-Solidarity users and elderly ones affected, usually by conditions of greater social disadvantage. Marbella Solidarity stressed that the day is an innovative experience and which is expected to be very positive because as the manager, Francisco RUMBA highlighted , coexistence in prosocial activities and sharing leisure activities is an effective tool when it comes to foster personal relationships, disassemble negative stereotypes and improve declined mood states . The council would to express their thanks to John Chambers, Marbella businessman and owner of the ship which has collaborated with the altruistic "Blue Fly Great Catamaran." Also, Marbella Solidarity takes this opportunity to encourage the business fabric of the municipality to cooperate in organizing and sponsoring social activities
