Marbella celebrates the Day of the Queen of Holland

MALAGA (Marbella) - The council, through the Tourism and Employment delegation of the Foreign Department, reported that last Wednesday, April 30, held the Day of the Queen of Holland "Koninginnedag". All the activities are conducted within the old quarter of Marbella and fall under the Action Plan established by the aforementioned delegation to celebrate national day of the different groups of foreign residents of the municipality. With these actions is intended to promote the Old Town and the value of historical heritage.
Queen's Day in Holland is the national holiday of the Netherlands and is celebrated in honor of the sovereign Juliana, mother of current Queen Beatrix. The programme included guided tours of the Old Town; music and dance; tasting Spanish and Dutch typical products; a stroll through the town bars, and awards to the most original costumes with the orange color as protagonist.
